Creo en la educación como un medio para transformar nuestras realidades. Mucha gente me preguntará, sí, ¿Pero que tipo de educación? Mi respuesta siempre será que reconociendo que nuestro México es diverso en muchos aspectos, debemos de tener una educación adecuada a cada contexto respetando esa diversidad. También considerar la brecha de inequidad social que prevalece en nuestros México y que pone en desventaja a los grupos más vulnerables y debemos sumar acciones para reducir esa brecha.

Así, aquí solo te comparto algunas asociaciones u ONG que se dedican a fomentar actividades que reduzcan esa brecha de inequidad social y apoyan a jóvenes para que puedan continuar sus estudios. Si está en tus manos darles una mano, con tu donativo puedes impactar muchas vidas, te invito a que revises sus sitios web y te acerques a ellos. Yo conozco a un par de ellas por conversaciones o interacciones que he tenido con ellos o con gente que colabora en ellas, NO pertenezco a ellas, solo aclaro esto para evitar confusiones. Es un trabajo que estas organizaciones llevan haciendo desde hace muchos años y admiro su labor.

I believe that education can help us to change our realities, to improve our society, to make a better world! Several people might ask me, specially in a context like Mexico due to the cultural diversity, YES but what type of education? My answer will always be that we have to recognize and respect the diversity in Mexico and when we talk about education we should adapt it to the local contexts. We need to be aware that in Mexico many of our children and youth live in social inequity, not all of them have the same access to education and we need to support those undeserved and vulnerable groups.

Thus, here I am only sharing the names of some NGOs I know that work to support children and youth, specially those coming from challenging backgrounds. I invite you to learn more about their work, to support them if you can. I DO NOT belong to these organizations but I have interacted with them at one point of my life, I make this clarification so you know the credit for their work only belongs to them. I am only sharing the work they do because I admire it and I believe that you could make a difference on some children/youth by supporting them.
